My summer in pics

So, I’m here with my second cup of coffee. About two months ago I started to drink my coffee without sugar. Not easy at the beginning… now it’s an habitude, just a little splash of milk, almond milk, and that’s it.

I enjoy Tuscany, that in this period of the year, is beautiful; no more warm days but fresh mornings, new arrivals at the market: pumpkins, porcini mushrooms, figues, chestnuts.

And in the countryside around Florence…. it’s harvest time! So the big question of these days is: how will be the wine?

I try to come back to my daily routine. It was a beautiful summer, full of interesting things.

I started in May with a short but intense experience in a florentine restaurant as chef… great!

In june I shot a video-recipe together with Giglio Cooking School for a Expo project

And then July…. high season for the cooking class.

Australians, americans, swedish, germans, french… a lot of people, a lot of smiles, such hard days but … pure passion and I’m really grateful for it.

I finished my first week of August with a cooking show about the fresh pasta. And a new recipe for this occasion: ravioli with eggplants in fresh tomatoes sauce and smoked cheese.

Just a little break in August in France with my family, and cat of course.

And finally Paris, again after 6 years.

Then a couple of days in Annecy. This beautiful little village was my house about twenty years ago for a great work experience. Just three month that I remember so much.

It was exciting to see again the lake, the small streets with the colorful market, the shops.

So here I’m, grateful for this great season, full of project :-)
