I really don’t understand why people buy orrible mix at supermaket… a genuine yummy brownie needs only few ingredients and 5 minutes of prep!
200 gr. /7 ounces caster sugar
120 gr./ 4 ounces dark chocolate
100 gr./ 3,5 ounces all purpose flour
2 eggs lightly beaten
your favourite nuts (optional)
Preheat oven 180°/350 F
Grease a 20 cm square mould cake and dust with flour.
In a bowl melt the butter and dark chocolate chopped into pieces: you can use the microwave or double boiler method.
Then add the eggs, the sugar and the flour. Add your nuts. Spoon the batter into the mould and bake for 20 minutes or until crisp on the surface and moist in the middle.
Dust with icing sugar.
